Opening Your Classroom to the World: How to Start Your Journey to Global Communication & Collaboration
Start your journey to culturally responsive learning. Tammy Brecht Dunbar, M.Ed., STEM, and 2019 Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms Fellow first shares a look inside her classroom to show how global connections & projects have been used to engage, enhance and elevate her lessons.

Then, you are invited to join "What Are Your Borders?" Dunbar's 2019 Fulbright TGC capstone project. This unit, aligned with Common Core & ISTE Standards for ELA, Social Studies & Technology and more, guides students through a discovery & study of natural, political and personal borders and brings them to a better understanding of how to overcome obstacles and break down barriers to communication, collaboration and understanding both locally and globally.

"What Are Your Borders?" and other rich resources to open your classroom to the world will be provided gratis to all participants.
