Engaging Assessment Using Screencasting and Flipgrid FULL
Limited Capacity full

Learn how to turn your students into the teachers when you want them to showcase what they know. We will learn how to use Screencastify (a free Chrome extension) to capture their computer screen, their face, and voice all at the same time as they explain a concept, show you their work, do a explanation of a close reading, explain how they did a math problem, etc... The applications for Screencastify are endless.  After, we will take our Screencastify recordings and upload them to a Flipgrid. Flipgrid is a place to curate all your student's work for a project on one site in which they can easily view all their peers' work and comment, "like", or leave an emoji response for their peer.  Teachers can do the same and more.
